The identity of the “older woman” who took 17-year-old Prince Harry’s virginity has been revealed.
In his memoir Spare, Harry describes how he lost his virginity behind a “very busy pub” to an unnamed “older woman who liked macho horses.” She treated him like a “young stallion” and “spanked” him after they had sex.
According to The Sun, former stable girl, Sasha Walpole — who is now 40, two years older than Harry, and one year younger than Meghan Markle — says that she is the woman who took his virginity.
Why it matters:
- Spare broke the Guinness World Record for the fastest-selling nonfiction book of all time. Harry’s revelation about his first time sparked a flurry of speculation — with 57-year-old actress Liz Hurley and 44-year-old former model Suzannah Harvey both rumored to be the possible older woman.
- But Walpole, who is now a married mother-of-two who drives excavators or diggers for a living, has seemingly solved the mystery.
The Details
- 19-year-old Walpole had been friends with Harry for two years when they had sex. Sasha says they met while she was working as a stable girl for the future King Charles and there are photos of the pair.
- Walpole had invited Harry for her 19th birthday party in The Vine Tree Pub in Wiltshire, U.K. The prince gifted her a stuffed Miss Piggy and a comedy birthday card with a flatulent whale — both of which Walpole still owns.
- According to Walpole, she was feeling upset as her ex-boyfriend had bought his new girlfriend to her birthday. To cheer her up, Harry bought Walpole a tray of ten alcoholic shots which they both shared and the pair got very drunk.
