• Earlier this month, it was revealed that Amber Heard has quit Hollywood and relocated to Madrid, Spain to start a “fresh” new life with her two-year-old daughter Oonagh.

 

• Heard’s move came after she had been ordered to pay $1,000,000 to her ex-husband Johnny Depp following his mostly successful defamation case against her last year.

 

• Since the highly-publicized trial with Depp, Heard had rarely engaged with the media. However, the actress has been seen interacting with fans and socializing with locals since relocating to Madrid.

‘I Move On. That’s Life’

• On May 20, Heard gave her first Spanish-speaking interview with the media. She revealed that she loved living in Spain and hoped to permanently stay in Madrid: “I love Spain so much. I hope I can get to stay here, I love living here.”

 

• In the video, which amassed over seven million views on TikTok, Heard also revealed that she had upcoming film projects. It was previously believed that the actress had retired from Hollywood. But it was recently confirmed that Heard will be appearing in Aquaman 2 despite an online campaign to remove her from the movie.

 

• Heard was also asked if she would be attending the Cannes film festival. Although the actress did not answer the reporter’s question, she declared “I move on, that’s life.”

 

• TikTok users praised Heard’s Spanish skills and positive attitude in the interview: “She looks like she’s healing.”It was a far cry from the hate leveled at Heard on TikTok during her defamation trial with Depp last year.

Meanwhile, Johnny Depp is back

• While Heard has become a fixture in Madrid, Depp has been steadily making his comeback in Hollywood. Depp held back tears as he received an ecstatic seven-minute standing ovation at the premiere of his film Jeanne Du Barry at Cannes Film Festival on May 16 .

 

• Depp also signed a record three-year $20 million deal to remain the face of the Dior men’s fragrance Sauvage earlier this month.
