Did Ellen Pompeo Ignore Blake Lively?

• Gossip Girl star Blake Lively and Ellen Pompeo both attended the Michael Kors Runway Show at New York Fashion Week (NYFW) on Monday.

 

• Blake and Ellen were seated next to one another in the front row at Michael Kors’ show to celebrate the designer’s Spring 2024 ready-to-wear collection.

 

• Ellen also sat next to her husband Chris Ivery, former Grey’s Anatomy Jesse Williams, and Rita Ora on the Michael Kors front row.

 

• However, a video is going viral on TikTok which appears to show Ellen ignoring Blake in the front row and talking to the other celebrities she is sitting with instead.

 

• The clip, which was posted by @galafr, has amassed over 6.6 million views in the last day. It seemingly shows Blake awkwardly staring into space and smiling to herself on the front row — while Ellen seemingly “ignores” her.

 

• Meanwhile, Ellen — sits right next to Blake — engages in an animated conversation with Jesse and Rita instead. And Blake continues to sit awkwardly by herself in the front row.

 
 

• Social media users were saddened by Ellen’s alleged snub of Blake. “No y’all didn’t just ignore my Blake,” a viewer comments. Another fan asked: “Why is nobody speaking to the queen?”

 

• Another viewer compared the scene to a school “cafeteria when you try to be a part of the group but that one person puts their arm up to block you. That’s the vibe here.” While a fan described Blake as “literally me in any social interaction.”

But: Other photos from the New York Fashion Week event show Ellen interacting with Blake — and not ignoring her.
 

• In a photo, Ellen and Blake can be seen smiling and talking with each other. In fact, in one image, Ellen holds her hand to her heart in happiness as she chats with Blake.

 

• Other TikTok viewers amusingly suggested that Blake may have been awkward around Ellen because she was star-struck by the Grey’s Anatomy star and wanted to play it “cool.” Blake’s best friend Taylor Swift is a huge Grey’s Anatomy fan and even named her cat after Ellen’s character “Meredith Grey” on the show.
