Fans are freaking out after Zendaya likes Taylor Swift’s latest Instagram post — years after the pair fell out when the Euphoria star liked tweets that shaded the singer.

• On Wednesday, Taylor Swift shared an Instagram video of herself posing with Beyoncé at the premiere of her concert film Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour. In the clip, Beyoncé could be seen smiling and tossing popcorn next to Taylor.

 

• In the Instagram post, Taylor gushed about Beyoncé and the Renaissance singer’s influence and generosity toward her.

 

• Taylor’s video has received over four million likes on Instagram. But fans went wild after Taylor’s former friend Zendaya liked her Instagram post after the pair allegedly fell out years ago.

 

• Zendaya’s support of Taylor came as a shock to fans. Zendaya was a member of Taylor’s squad and famously appeared in the singer’s star-studded music video for Bad Blood in 2014.

• However, the pair’s relationship cooled after Zendaya liked some tweets shading Taylor in 2016 — after Kim Kardashian infamously leaked the singer’s phone call with Kanye West on Snapchat. The call seemed to prove that Kanye had sought Taylor’s approval over a lyric which she had previously denied.

 

• Zendaya liked a few tweets dissing Taylor, including one that said: “I’m glad Zendaya was never really down with that whole Taylor squad.”

 

• Zendaya also liked another tweet that featured a photo of her alongside Kim, Katy Perry, Taylor, and Selena Gomez with the caption: “Crop Zendaya out of this. She is pure.”

 

• Zendaya later un-liked the tweets but the screenshot of her original online activity remains on social media,

 

Does This Mean Zendaya and Taylor Swift are Friends Again?

• Many Swifties were thrilled after Zendaya liked Taylor’s post and dubbed it “as a day for the history books.” Several social media users hoped the pair would become friends again and joked that “the world is healing”.

• Some fans predicted that Zendaya might appear in the new Bad Blood music video for the singer’s rerecording of 1989 (Taylor’s Version) to be released on October 27.

 

• However, other fans could not forgive Zendaya for shading Taylor in 2016: “Girl we don’t forget, stay away from her.”
